Policy.

The terms and conditions for room bookings are as follows:

If a reservation for hotel accommodation only, with or without breakfast, is made for more than 6 rooms, the following applies to the cancellation of that reservation:

a. In the event of cancellation more than 1 month before the start date, the customer is not obligated to pay any amount to the hotel.
b. In the event of cancellation more than 14 days before the start date, the customer is obligated to pay 15% of the reservation value to the hotel.
c. In the event of cancellation more than 7 days before the start date, the customer is obligated to pay 35% of the reservation value to the hotel.
d. In the event of cancellation more than 3 days before the start date, the customer is obligated to pay 60% of the reservation value to the hotel.
e. In the event of cancellation more than 24 hours before the start date, the customer is obligated to pay 85% of the reservation value to the hotel.
f. In case of cancellation 24 hours or less before the start date, the guest is obligated to pay 100% of the reservation value to the hotel.

It is prohibited to:

1) Use emergency exits as normal entrances and exits.
2) Take hotel property outside the building. Intentional damage to property belonging to Mijn Torpedoloods and/or Hotel Amerika may be held liable for repair and/or replacement costs.
3) Consume, use, trade, or possess narcotics.
4) Use and/or bring nitrous oxide during your visit to our hotel. If nitrous oxide is found in your room, you will be asked to leave immediately.
5) Cause a nuisance to others, including loud music, rude behavior, or noise of any kind.
6) Rent the room in your name without occupying it yourself. 7) To stay with more than the permitted number of people in the room.
8) To receive guests in the room for sexual activities for a fee.
9) To smoke in the room. If we detect smoking in the room, we will charge a €150 cleaning fee. If the fire alarm is triggered by smoking in the room, you will be charged the €275 fire department call-out fee.
10) To bring pets into the hotel rooms.
11) To scatter confetti in your hotel room. If we find any, we will charge you a €150 cleaning fee.
11) To leave your room dirty beyond what is reasonable. During normal use, there will be at most a few scraps, crumbs, or a piece of paper on the floor. For any situation that exceeds normal use, we will charge you a €150 cleaning fee.
12) To extend your stay on your own initiative. If you wish to extend your stay, please contact our reception and pay the applicable rate. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. For every half hour you overstay, we charge €25.00.
